Iced Earth finally back in Germany after 2002 :-)
I didn't liked that they played in the Live Music Hall in Cologne, because
the sound there isn't as good as in other venues around here (for example
Zeche in Bochum or Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen). Anyway there was no choice,
luckily the band managed to get the best sound that seems possible in the
Live Music Hall. The Concert itself was fantastic, the setlist was also nice,
Very cool that Iced Earth played part 2 and 3 of Gettysburg.
Tim did a very good job on the old songs, his performance on the song “Iced
Earth” was one of the greatest moments of this show. I only missed Matt on “Melancholy”.
I’m not very happy about the recording itself, it didn't came out as good as
I hoped. Hopefully you will enjoy it anyways.
They played with Annihilator that night. |
