It is a tad distant, so the crowd is a little loud in between songs. In
addition there is wind noise that hits the mics that is noticeable between
songs as well. However, the music and vocals come across nicely, and you can
tell Metallica is happy to be playing in LA, and that LA is happy to be
seeing Metallica. It's quite possible that the taper cut the final "thank
yous" from the band. The show ends with James saying his thanks right after
Sandman. Usually, Lars would say something as well as Kirk. Not sure why the
taper didn't keep rolling. |
