Notes from the taper :" Well, what can I say, that day one the major
dreams of my life came true. I saw live the band I had dreamed to see for a
very long time. I took the recorder with me although it was evident the
livemet.com would provide the SBD version, but still i knew that it would
never harm anyone if i tape. There were lots of doubt whether i should
scream my a** off or tape silent just opening the mouth pretending to sing.
What you hear is the recording with quite some chanting around me and it
does include some of my voice when i simply could not resist the temptation
to sing. I really did not think the recording would be so good under all the
aforementioned conditions. I stood with my friends about 30 m from the stage
in the so called fan area, almost dead center. So please enjoy the FULL
recording of the second Moscow Metallica gig ever! And once again this
recording was intended to be for personal use only - a thing to remember but
i know that there are quite some traders who would enjoy this item in their
collections. My personal thank you goes to Jerry aka Govner for
everything!". |
