It seems that the Metallica completists have found the sacramento music
archive. I received 2 messages asking for this show, along with 2 other
tapes that appear to be uncirculated. Those other 2 will take a while (I
have A LOT of people I neglected and need to get back to), but here is the
new year’s show.
The origin of this tape is kind of a mystery. I vaguely remember Mark Martin
telling me that he taped this, but the writing on this tape is not his, and
it came from his collection that I acquired in the 80s. It kinds looks like
“tour manager Doug”‘s writing, and the sound of the tape sounds like one of
his as well. So, this is probably 1st gen, might be a master.. who knows.
