New composite of two sources that upgrades and completes my recently
shared incomplete version. Not much info on this one. The tape was labelled
the next night in Sacramento, but research showed this to be a cancellation.
Master of Puppets began in progress, but supposedly this is all that was
recorded of this show. To complete the recording Bubba420 sent me another
recording that was missing most of Damage Inc. This composite makes two
incomplete recordings into one complete one by using source 2 for the
beginning of the show.
I warn you: source 2 is a pretty terrible recording that was made worse by
copying it with the head azimuth way out of whack. I did what I could to
improve it, but the tape wobbling around gave it a sort of wah sound and
there was only so much EQ and NR could do to fix it. This sound is present
in some of the source 1 master as well, so this may be two versions of the
same recording, with source 2 being many generations and vastly inferior to
source 1. |
