Decent audience recording. Simon went through a phase of using a smaller tie
pin mic instead of the Aiwa CM30 we normally used. The results weren't as
good as the CM30 was / is a superb mic. Thankfully, he reverted back to the
CM30 pretty quickly.
I went to a fair few gigs at the Mayfair. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of
them. I saw and recorded Sheffield the night before, but I bet that this
would have been an absolute riot in a place as small as the Mayfair!
