Recording/Remastering Notes:
I did two things to the sound. I Removed a constant background "hum"
produced by the equipment.
This was almost inaudible to begin with, but because of it's consistency,
digital noise reduction
was able to remove it without producing any artifacts. The hum was probably
either interference
gathered by my sound card or from the record player itself. I also ran a
click/pop eliminator
over it. The original Vinyl is in excellent condition, but there was still
some light crackling
throughout the record, and a couple of large pops. I applied *no* hiss
reduction, hard limiting,
or compression to the music. The record levels were the same for every side.
Errata:
* On track six, at around 0:55, there were a few large pops. These were
reduced by the click/pop
eliminator, but are sill audible.
* On many of the tracks, the volume level flutters up and down. This is from
the source recording.
Only second half of the show. |
