"When it comes to taping such all-time fav bands as Slayer it’s always great
to get an absolutely great result out of it. And although it was ‘polished’
by fellow DIMEr Demolition, the original sound and the equipment made this
probably one of the best recordings I’ve ever done. The only downside of it
is that it became a little boomy due to original venue sound, other than
that it’s clear, almost no singers/screamers nearby, Tom sounds like it’s a
SBD recording (especially when he talks in-between tracks). Mr. Barghest was
also present @ the gig and was recording the gig but somehow the rig failed
on him and he got silence." |
