This was my first attempt at recording a show, im quite pleased with the
results considering it was my first time and the venue sucks royal ass!! I
missed the first 10 secs or so due to the fact that i went to get the gear
ready in the bathroom and realized that my girlfriend still had the mic in
her purse...so i had to go all the way back to get it. :( LOL The crowd at
this show was loud as hell...and the venue seemed to be overly packed. I
taped this from the left side of the VIP balcony..about 5ft from the
spotlight guy. The crowd is pretty loud (mostly between the songs) for the
first 20mins or so until most people moved to differnt spots and i also
turned the recording lvl down a touch which helped. Dave was low in the
mix...i had a hard time understanding what he was saying when he was talking
but it wasnt half as bad when he sang. Overall i think this recording sounds
better then it did to my ears at the show. A big thanks goes out to brad for
transfering my dat and to Seb for helping me master it. :) |
