Sadly the first recording to surface from the 20th anniversary CtE tour is
quite poor - distant and you need to crank it up to enjoy it. Some 10 years
ago I would have remastered it but not today, sorry. It sounds like the
taper (albeit having very good gear) was sitting veeeery far away from the
stage and the crowd is also quite active nearby. Taper's comments: "Recorded
from the right side of the stage. Amplified the sound in Audacity. Dave's
vocals were very low during the first part of the show. At least to me. Also
had a talker next to me for about half the show. Nice guy, just couldn't
stop talking. I would have moved but the place was pretty full and had a
great spot to watch the show, so I dealt with it. Sorry if it takes away
from the show. " Anyways, the setlist looks pretty standard for an
anniversary tour being CtE and some other crowd pleasers. I'm still thankful
to the taper, just wish the recording was better. |
