This is the second show I received this from some guy Nick who said this was
recorded by a friend of his and was never shared at all.
Dave says at least once "Portland". Unlike the 1988-01-02 recording, the
band also performs "Liar" which happened most likely due to the fact that
Savatage was scheduled to play but missed their flight and couldn't play
because of that, hence Megadeth had more time to perform.
The recording cuts in missing about 30 secs of WUD. The rest of it sounds
really nice considering the age of it and that it was recorded in a large
venue.
Dave presents the "new" band. About HiM "We would like to do for you
something of our new record... It will be out on January 19..."
About Liar: "We would like to do another new song for... I am sure our
lighting director knows it..".
Enormous thanks to Nick for this unsurfaced gem. Omg it took the recording
almost exactly 24 years to surface! |
