I received this from some guy Nick who said this was recorded by a friend of
his and was never shared at all. He said it was Rochester when Megadeth
opened for Dio. The setlist and Dave's utterances about "Rock chester"
confirm it. However the (un)official Dio website
(http://www.dio.net/tour/dream_evil.html) along with some other resources
state that the show might take place @ Broome County Arena, Binghampton, NY,
USA. Nick re-confirmed me that it was indeed War Memorial Auditorium in
Rochester. The recording cuts in missing just a few sec of WUD. The rest of
it sounds really nice considering the age of it and that it was recorded in
a large venue. Dave presented the "new" band and urged the crowd to buy the
"new" record which was due on January 19. Enormous thanks to Nick for this
unsurfaced gem. |
