A couple of people asked about Megadeth a while back... I should have gotten
to this sooner.
I picked this Megadeth show because it illustrates why I didn't bother
owning any taping gear myself for so many years. There was no point. Steve
was so possessed he even flew to Soldotna to tape a show.
OK... So why was Megadeth playing Soldotna? I have no idea. Megadeth has
probably played arena shows to more people than live in Soldotna. I've never
heard of another rock concert there before or since.
Can't say this hockey rink they played was built for sound. I tried to clean
it up a little, but it's still a bit fuzzy......
